Rugby League Commercial and IMG Unveil Enhanced ‘Our League’ App for Fans, in Partnership with Urban Zoo

RL Commercial and IMG are delighted to unveil a new look and feel for Rugby League’s official fan app – Our League – powered by market leading digital platform provider, Urban Zoo.

Supporters can now access all the latest news, videos and key information via Our League’s extensive Match Centre, which covers all levels of the game. This includes the three Betfred Super Leagues – Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair – as well as cup competitions, such as the Betfred Challenge Cup, and Community Rugby League divisions like the National Conference League.

Ahead of the 2025 Betfred Super League season launch in February, Our League will also host a brand-new Predictor game that enables fans to predict results across the professional game against fellow supporters and earn weekly rewards, as well as improved functionality across interactive features such as Player of the Match votes, polls, quizzes and much more. These features will also be available across the Super League and Rugby League websites.

For the first time, Rugby League fans will be able to sign into their respective Rugby League One accounts via the Our League app. Our League is available in both the Apple App Store and Android’s Google Play Store.

Originally launched in 2017, Our League was a first in British sport and immediately became an integral part of Rugby League’s digital offering. Membership has climbed steadily over the subsequent seven years to pass 300,000, with consistently high levels of engagement.

The re-launch follows a record-breaking 2024 that saw over 8.5M engagements across all Rugby League social media channels and over 162M individual views on Rugby League video content in 2024. Last season also saw the highest-performing International Test Series, Betfred Challenge Cup Final, Magic WKND and Betfred Super League Play-Offs and Grand Final, leading to a collective Year on Year uptick of 154% in engagements and 61% in impressions.

The continued digital transformation across RL Commercial’s platforms has been delivered by IMG as part of their long-term strategic partnership with Rugby League. It covers the Betfred Super League, Betfred Challenge Cup, Rugby Football League and England Rugby League social media channels across platforms such as Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
