IMG College Ticket Solutions and UC Davis today announced a partnership to significantly expand UC Davis Athletics’ ticket sales department. After entering the ticket solutions business this year, IMG College now has 12 university partners including San Jose State and UNLV in the West.
Under the multi-year agreement, IMG College will assist in maximizing ticket sales for football and men’s basketball. UC Davis will be serviced from a new dedicated Sales Center in the Winston-Salem headquarters of IMG College under the supervision of Chris Bain.

In addition to ticket sales, IMG College has been a long-standing partner of UC Davis, managing the University’s multimedia and trademark licensing rights.
This marks the 12th partnership for IMG College Ticket Solutions, which launched in January, managing universities’ athletic ticket sales efforts by recruiting and developing professional in-house or off-site sales and marketing staffs who operate as official representatives of the athletics department.
While more Americans purchase tickets to college athletics events than any other sport – each year more than 100 million fans attend events – the overall ticket marketplace is increasingly competitive, and like other businesses, affected by the economic downturn.
